Perspective and Dharma

I have been told many times that it is just a matter of perspective.Everyone is correct in their own perspective.Well, I have accepted this. But,a question pops up in my mind. There is nothing wrong in the world. So,how do we decide that someone is "guilty".

If someone steals anything, should we accept it? Because,he/she might have been forced into it by his/her situations in life.If someone murders, should we accept it?After all, noone wishes to grow up as a murderer.Obviously, his/her situations have shaped him/her!! But, an argument comes up,"Freedom of one ends where the other begins".This leads to a hell lot of confusion in me.Obviously, nothing in the world is only black or only white. There are some grey areas too.We are somany times even unaware that we have been cause of someone else's suffering. In this world of globalisation,it is even more difficult. If some product has been made with childlabour in some other country, how are we even aware of it? If working conditions of a company in Africa are not very good, aren't we indirectly responsible for worsening their situation by buying such products? How are we to know all the situations happening in the world. It is practically impossible!!

So,again confusion!!!We end up questioning everything in the world. How to go about it?Here comes Swa-dharma.Just doing one's duty liberates from all these thoughts. That was taught by Krinsha to Arjuna in Bhagavad Gita also.I remeber reading a question in Quora:"What is the purpose of this life?" Someone had answered that God punishes people by giving this question in their mind. The purpose of life is to discover that it has to be lived fully!!!Of course, questioning is never wrong. But,one realises this on their own. That is why it was always referred as Self-realisation.

PS:These thoughts have been inspired from the book "21Lessons for the 21st Century".It is a very good read.Kindly consider reading it.And feedback for the above thoughts is requested.
