CHOICE

He wakes up everyday and immediately puts his hand on his phone with the excitement of leftover conversations of the last night to be finished this morning. Not very interestingly, he scrolls down newsfeed to discover emptiness in his life. He pushes away the uncomfortable thought of progress in his studies by listening away to his 'positive' mind. As he folds the blanket, he thinks of the change he can make in his life if he seriously focused on his studies, career. He thinks of learning anything with comfortable ease and the respect he would get if he 'studied'. Yet, he does nothing. You see, Life is a choice.                                                 He watches Youtube 'motivational' videos and thinks casually to himself, "I already know all these. Dude, what are you teaching ME??" He also watches some short films which teach about morals, treating women equally, struggles of discovering oneself

Perspective and Dharma

I have been told many times that it is just a matter of perspective.Everyone is correct in their own perspective.Well, I have accepted this. But,a question pops up in my mind. There is nothing wrong in the world. So,how do we decide that someone is "guilty".                                                  If someone steals anything, should we accept it? But, an argument comes up,"Freedom of one ends where the other begins".This leads to a hell lot of confusion in me.Obviously, nothing in the world is only black or only white. There are some grey areas too.We are somany times even unaware that we have been cause of someone else's suffering. In this world of globali

Soul searching

At one point in time , one feels the need to answer himself/herself the very purpose of  this existence. Sounds like the same old philosophical question?? But, it is quite interesting when you personally experience it.                                           I guess this question arises when all your basic necessities like food, shelter, clothing are fulfilled. Well, even as I write this a question crosses my mind.Isn,t 'basic necessities' very subjective? Well again, one more question passes my mind!!!Sorry, but thats how my mind is!! Isn't everything in the world so subjective? What may seem "damn right" for one person might be the "very wrong" for the other person. As I was watching Ramayana this morning, an incident of Rama ending His avatar by walking into Sarayu river passed my mind. It is said that all the people who had walked into the river along with Rama had got 'Liberation' or 'Moksha'. Whatif,
